Our sales team at Cabot Ford spends lots of time showing the Ford Fusion. There’s a lot to love. Consumers requested an affordable sedan and Ford answered with the Fusion, which now offers gas, hybrid, and plug-in hybrid powertrain options.
With lots to brag about, the Ford Fusion has outstanding exterior and interior features, advanced safety features, and updated technology packages.
As a standard offering in the hybrid, the 2.0L I04 Atkinson-cycle gasoline engine and electric motor produce a combined 188 horsepower. With the combined energy of the gas engine and electric motor, the Fusion Hybrid has an EPA-estimated rating of 43 city/41hwy/42 combined mpg, making it a top performer among hybrids.
The 2020 Fusion Titanium stands out with its chrome-surround grille and updated LED tail lamps. It has two available EcoBoost engines to choose from: the 1.5L and the 2.0L combine turbocharging, direct injection and twin independent variable cam timing to help performance and efficiency.
With available smart features like intelligent all-wheel drive and electric power-assisted steering, the Fusion is all about performance. Regenerative braking, EcoSelect, and EcoCruise help conserve energy, too.
Ford’s thought of it all with the SE Appearance Package featuring 18-inch Ebony Black-painted aluminum wheels, halogen fog lamps with bright chrome trim and black bezel, and a rear spoiler.
A spacious interior with heated and cooled driver and passenger seats and a roomy console area add extra luxury to the cabin. Outfitted with trendy interior color options and an available heated leather-wrapped steering wheel, the Fusion makes an eye-popping and comfortable travel companion.
Not to be outdone by the popular SUVs Ford offers, the Fusion’s trunk, with 16 cubic feet of space, has room for all your everything.
We don’t disappoint with safety features. The Ford Co-Pilot 360 comes standard in the Fusion, offering you priceless peace of mind.
The Ford Co-Pilot 360 System includes the following safety features:
Pre-Collision Assist With Automatic Emergency Braking
Depth perception while driving in the dark can be a real challenge for some. Pre-Collision Assist uses in-car technology to scan the road ahead and alert you to potential collisions with vehicles or pedestrians it detects in your path. If an object is detected, a warning flashes on the windshield and an alarm sounds. If you are alerted and take no action, the brakes are applied automatically. The brakes are only applied if you need them - not if you don’t.
BLIS (Blind Spot Information System) with Cross-Traffic Alert
It’s easy to see a car’s lights behind you in the dark, but if you worry about taking your eyes off the road in front of you to check behind you, the BLIS with Cross-Traffic alert can aid in their detection.
Active even when you’re not moving, radar systems on either side of your car detect when a car is present and in your blind spot. A light comes on in the corresponding side-view mirror to alert you to the vehicle you may not be able to see. *This system only detects motorized vehicles, not bikes, walkers, or other objects.*
Cross-Traffic Alert warns you a moving car is coming from either side when you’re backing up with three alerts: a light on the corresponding side-view mirror, a chime, and a message in the message sensor.
Auto High Beam Headlights
Offered as a standard feature, the auto beam headlights can sense poor lighting conditions and automatically turn on to increase visibility. A real plus for nighttime highway driving, it also senses when another vehicle is coming from the opposite direction and dims automatically.
Evasive Steering Assist
This available feature can help make it easier to avoid a potential collision. It does not steer for you, but it provides steering support if the system warning goes off and you need to maneuver around the vehicle ahead.
This feature keeps you in your lane, especially in a moment of distraction, by constantly scanning your positioning within your lane and alerting you should you deviate from it.
The available Voice-Activated Touchscreen Navigation System is a favorite feature for sure. With an included five-year prepaid SiriusXM Traffic and Travel Link subscription, you can use it to get gas station locations and pieces, weather forecasts, and even sports scores.
Waze is now compatible with available SYNC 3 AppLink. Moving Waze from your phone to the vehicle’s touchscreen allows you to conveniently access the app’s features on a larger display. You can also operate Waze with voice commands for hands-free control, allowing you to keep your eyes on the road.
